What We Can Not Do

Office of the Ombudsperson can not take up matter which includes:

  • Service/administrative grievances
  • Private matters
  • Domestic violence
  • Family matters/disputes
  • Not addressed to this office
  • Cases subjudice in another forum under the Act, 2010
  • Already disposed of cases
  • Anonymous/pseudonymous complaints
  • Financial help requests
  • Matters concerning other provinces
  • Requests for contractual dues
  • Harassment by non-employee/ private person
  • Harassment but not at workplace (Defined in the Law)
  • Cybercrimes (Facebook, whatsapp, twitter, etc. by private person)
  • Students’ affairs
  • Matters falling in the purview of the Ombudsman Punjab
  • The detailed description of property is not given
  • Where about of Respondents are not traceable.
  • Where property is beyond the territorial jurisdiction
  • Where complaint is made by male person in individual capacity under Property Act
  • Where mutation has already been passed either by way of fraud or coercion etc
  • Where suit for specific Performance is pending adjudication before Civil Court and the same on the basis written agreement.
  • Mutation has been passed on the basis of written gift / Hiba
